Tasks related to the Department of Resource Planning and Performance Management

Build and develop the strategic plan of Kuwait University in all its components (vision, mission, objectives and strategic goals) through direct coordination with senior management, colleges, and various work centers.

Supervise the process of preparing the action plans for colleges and work centers and their suitability for the strategic plan of the university.

Prepare the financial and human plan and estimate the annual budgets of the university and link them to the projects and programs of the action plans for colleges and work centers, and follow up the efficiency of disbursement and achievement.

Participate in educating the authorities about the principles of strategic planning and methodology followed by Kuwait University.

Implement the performance management system at Kuwait University, and identify indicators to follow up the procedures of the plan to measure the actual performance of the colleges and work centers according to the strategic objectives.

Analyze and study the most important obstacles and gaps that affect the progress of the strategic plan's procedures and discuss to develop appropriate solutions, in coordination with the competent authorities.

Participate in developed projects with colleges and work centers to increase the overall performance of the university.

Supervise the preparation and follow-up of the University's projects along with the country Development Plan and coordinate with all colleges and work centers with the approval to the Supreme Council for Planning and Development.
