Tasks related to department of Project's Follow Up and Operations

• Follow-up contracts for the implementation of construction projects and related supervision agreements, and participate in the study of requests for change orders and extensions of time contracts implementation and supervision agreements.
   

• Follow-up all the procedures for the initial receipt of construction projects and coordinate with the work centers and the implementing authorities about the operating observations during the contractual maintenance phase.
   

• Follow-up all procedures for the final receipt of construction projects and coordinate with the work centers and related parties.
   

• Follow-up the implementation of requests for amendments in buildings and squares and the installation of the latest components of the work centers of the University, and ensure the application of quality standards, sustainability, and environmental safety.
   

• Prepare the transition plans with the accommodation of the colleges, work centers and beneficiaries in their new locations according to the operational plans.
   

• Follow up the implementation of plans and studies for the management of university facilities.
   

• Archive and manage the site databases and plans for the university buildings using GIS and update them periodically, and prepare the GIS database for the university sites.
   

• Prepare periodic reports on the follow-up of the completion of construction projects, measuring their performance and making relevant observations and recommendations to the senior management of the university and other concerned authorities to contribute to decision support.
   

• Prepare a manual for each university site and each new project, and periodically update it.
   

• Ensure the applying of environmental safety requirements for projects and quality standards in the university sites in coordination with the concerned authorities inside and outside the university.
   

• Follow-up implementation of projects, preparation of periodic reports about the progress of work and achievements and obstacles of implementation in coordination with the implementation authorities.
   

• Participate in the preparation of the estimated budget for the implementation and operation.
