Tasks related to the Department of Statistics and Strategic Studies

• Prepare the annual report of Kuwait University which monitors the achievements of the university in all fields.
   

• Surveillance and assessment of various types of data at Kuwait University to ensure quality.
   

• Document, analyze and disseminate the official statistics of Kuwait University as an accredited source of data and information at the university, governmental authorities, ministries, institutions, and other authorities.
   

• Prepare and design statistical forms to estimate future numbers to support the quantitative planning mechanisms and to formulate plans and policies at Kuwait University.
   

• prepare the institutional studies that contribute in decision-support in all aspects related to developing the educational system at Kuwait University (such as studies of labor market needs and recruitment, graduate and dropout- rates, estimating the number of students and faculty members, Kuwait University's capacity, the cost of students at Kuwait University and others).
   

• Establish, develop and link mini-databases for education, students, manpower and classrooms at Kuwait University, and update them both quarterly and annually.
