Iowa State University, represented by Mr. Joe Nottle, Executive Director of Public Relations, who was greeted by Prof. Haitham Lababidi, Acting Assistant Vice President for Planning, Dr. Ahmed Al-Daqbasi, Head of the Food and Nutrition Department at the College of Life Sciences, and the Planning Sector team.

The visit began with a visual presentation by the Planning Sector on the (Research Oasis) project that Kuwait University is currently implementing as part of the development plan for the State of Kuwait, while Dr. Ahmed Al-Daqbasi discussed the Food and Nutrition Department and pointed out research projects and research priorities in the field of food, food safety and agriculture, and how to benefit from the expertise of the
