On Tuesday morning of , April 30, 2024, Kuwait University represented by The Office of the Vice President for Planning, welcomed an investment delegation from Hong Kong Ambassadors Club in the People's Republic of China, at the university campus in Sabah Al-Salem University City, in the presence of the Acting Assistant of the Vice President for Planning, Prof. Dr. Haitham Lababidi, Member of the Executive Council of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, Jeffrey Kin, and members of the investment delegation from the People's Republic of China "Hong Kong" and the Institutional Innovation Department in the Planning Sector.

The visit aimed to benefit from the successful experiences in the field of student-led knowledge exchange, interest in the investment aspect, and to discuss the cooperation in the academic and cultural fields between Kuwait University and Chinese universities in Hong Kong, in addition to raising many common investment topics with the aim of organizing bilateral visits

between Kuwait University and Hong Kong Ambassadors Club in the future.
